1. Ted Scott-Smith Special Education Solutions

Experienced. Personal. On your side.
I help families make sense of special education and move forward with calm, clarity, and confidence. Whether it’s reviewing IEPs, explaining next steps, or just being there when things feel overwhelming, I provide warm, responsive support tailored to your unique needs. You don’t have to figure this out alone.
As an experienced special education teacher and independent consultant, I am deeply involved in the field and personally committed to every family I work with. Unlike larger firms, I take on only a small number of clients so I can provide focused, individualized support with no corporate layers. Just honest, expert guidance you can trust.
Experience and Care
With nearly 20 years in special education, I’ve worked as a teacher, case manager, tutor, and consultant. I’ve supported students with significant disabilities in schools and at home. I’m also a parent of children with disabilities, so I understand how emotional, confusing, and frustrating the process can be. I bring both professional insight and personal perspective to every family I work with.
